The structural characteristics of anti-slip spike nails (with sharp protrusions, fixed installation holes, and regular geometric shapes) determine that the mold needs to have multi-process processing capabilities. The specific functions can be classified into the following 4 categories:

Blanking function
Completed by the "blanking die", it cuts the rolled or sheet-like metal raw materials (usually with a thickness of 0.8-3mm, selected according to the strength requirements of the spike nails) into sheet-like materials that match the size of the spike nail blanks. This is the first step of processing and determines the basic size accuracy of the finished product.

Drilling function
Realized by the "drilling die", it drills fixed holes for installation (such as circular holes, U-shaped holes) on the blanks. The hole position accuracy needs to be controlled within ±0.1mm to ensure that the subsequent spike nails can precisely fit the expansion screws or bolts for installation, avoiding the inability to fix due to hole position deviation.

Forming function
The core process, completed by the "forming die" (including punch and die) through pressure to press the flat raw material into a three-dimensional structure with "sharp protrusions" - the "spike tip" angle (usually 30°-60°) and protrusion height (5-15mm) are precisely controlled by the cavity shape of the forming die, directly affecting the anti-slip effect (if the spike tip is too blunt, the anti-slip fails; if it is too sharp, it is prone to breakage).

Edge trimming / finishing function
For some complex spike nails (such as double-row spikes, arc-shaped spikes), the "edge trimming die" is used to remove the excess metal burrs after forming to ensure that the spike nail edges have no burrs (to avoid scratching the workers during installation), and at the same time correct the shape dimensions to ensure the consistency of batch products.
