Special angle elbows Special angle elbows are suitable for connecting pipes at various angles. Elbows are divided into angles, 90° elbows are the most commonly used, and other abnormal angle elbows such as 45°, 60°180°, etc. are also included according to engineering needs. According to its radius of curvature: it can be divided into long radius elbow and short radius elbow. The long radius elbow refers to the outside diameter of the pipe whose radius of curvature is equal to 1.5 times, that is, R=1.5D; the short radius elbow refers to its radius of curvature equal to the outside diameter of the pipe, that is, R=1.0D. (D is the diameter of the elbow, R is the radius of curvature). Elbows with large radius are bent by a complete set of bending dies, which are divided into two processes: cold simmering and hot pushing. 1. Roll bending: The pipe is bent with three rolls, one of which is the driving wheel and the other two are the driven wheels. During the bending process, only the distance between the driving roller and the driven roller can be changed to achieve bending with various radii of curvature, which has certain requirements for the radii of curvature. Suitable for curved ring or spiral pipe fittings with large radius of curvature and thick-walled pipe fittings. 2. Bending: The mold is used to bend the blank on the hydraulic press. Used to make pipe fittings or elbows have straight sections, etc. 3. Winding: (1) Manual bending: low manufacturing cost and simple equipment. This method is easy to adjust and use, and is mainly used in small batch production occasions. Method 1. Punching method: Use the tapered core on the punch to enlarge the tube end to the required size and shape. 2. Rolling method: Put the core into the cylinder. Push the outer wheel to process round edges. 4. Balloon method: (1) Put the rubber into the pipe and squeeze the upper part with a punch to make the pipe protrude into shape. (2) Hydraulic bulging, filling the middle of the pipe with liquid to expand the pipe into the desired shape. Most bellows are produced in this way. 5. Rolling method: generally without mandrel, suitable for the inner edge of thick-walled pipe. 6. Forging method: Use a die forging machine to extend the pipe end or parts to reduce the outer diameter of the pipe. Common forgings are rotary, connecting rod and roller. 7. Bending method: It can be divided into stretching method, stamping method and rolling method, including 3-4 rollers, 2 fixed rollers, 1 adjusting roller, adjusting the distance between rollers and finished bending. Unlike straight pipes, bent pipes have more functions due to their curved shape. In order to meet the customized needs of customers, the company often processes elbows with different angles and radii. The model of our company's elbow products is Φ12mm-Φ3420mm.
