The entire process selects one or more mixtures of different crop straws as the main components and framework of the substrate, and adds a certain proportion of other biomass materials, as well as relevant nutrients, natural water-retaining agents, swelling agents, binders, root promoters and sterilizing agents.
A lightweight soilless rice seedling substrate has been developed. This soilless substrate has good water absorption and expansion properties, and sufficient nutrient supply capacity; the seedlings cultivated in it have a short growth cycle, are vigorous, have good carpeting ability, strong stress resistance, and recover quickly after transplanting; the seedlings have good root cohesion, are highly compatible with machine transplanting technology, and save labor and costs.
