Each gabion mattress unit consists of a wire mesh base, side walls, 5 diaphragm cell separators, and a top cover.
Gabion Mattress Mesh Construction: Made of double-twisted PVC-coated galvanized hexagonal wire mesh.
Diaphragm Separator Requirements: Installed at 1 m intervals. Each gabion mattress has six cells. The diaphragm mesh shall match the outer mesh properties.
Lacing Wire Requirements: Each gabion mattress shall include enough lacing wire for assembly. The supplier shall determine the total lacing wire length, including normal installation wastage.
Galvanized Wire and Zinc Coating: The wire shall be hot-dip galvanized with at least 260 g/m² zinc coating. The wire and PVC coating shall meet the following physical and mechanical requirements.
Packing Requirements: folded flat, and packed in bundles.

Notes

Schedule A: The initial or planned quantities for the first phase of filling gabions, such as the first 50 meters of a wall. For example, 27.30 sqm of wire mesh would be used in the first 50 meters of gabion boxes, with 2.10 cum of boulders for the same length.
Schedule B: The quantities for the next phase, or for a different task altogether, such as preparing a different area, perhaps a new section of wall.

By using Schedule A, the project team can track the expected amounts of materials and tasks in the beginning phase. Similarly, Schedule B would follow up with more detailed measurements or tasks.
