Home Compostable Pouches
Ecolution Packaging’s home compostable pouches with a paper finish are made with NatureFlex™, certified home compostable cellulose films. Home compostable pouches are comprised of three layers including compostable paper layer, compostable film and compostable sealant, providing excellent oxygen, moisture and aroma barriers that prevents coffee from airing out.
Industrial Compostable Pouches
Ecolution Packaging’s industrial compostable pouches are made with PLA with paper finish. PLA is a bioplastic derived from renewable, organic sources such as corn starch or sugar cane, which is industrial compostable and can be disintegrated back into organic matter.
Clear Home Compostable Pouches
Ecolution Packaging’s Clear Home Compostable Pouches are made with compostable NatureFlex™ films and compostable sealant layer, providing high oxygen and moisture barriers  They are transparent and clear look with excellent print flexibility.
Monoplymer Recyclable Pouches
Ecolution Packaging’s recyclable pouches are made with monopolymer either over 95% PE or PP, which eliminate aluminum or plastics layers and are 100% recyclable. Monoplymer recyclable pouches can be recycled and turned into other items, diverting waste from landfills.

What are benefits of compostable packaging?
Compostable packaging has many benefits, including the fact that it can be treated like organic waste, and therefore, decompose naturally just like organic matter. Composting is the perfect solution for packaging products that will be contaminated with food scraps as these materials can’t be recycled. When compostable packaging is discarded in the organic waste stream as compost, it will fully decompose within 6 months into a natural fertilizer for soil and plants.
What are the differences between industrial and home composting?
Industrial compostable products are made with PLA and must be disposed of in a designated industrial composting facility as the materials require higher temperatures (above 55 degrees to biodegrade). The environments in commercial facilities are designed to optimise the degradation process as industrial composting more rigorously sustains the temperature and stability of the compost due to more controlled conditions including high levels of heat, humidity and the presence of bacteria/microorganisms.
Home compostable products are mad from natural and renewable resources and can be composted at home. All components and materials used in the packaging including the printing ink and adhesives will decompose into organic soil. The composting process involves the collection of organic and plant-based materials that are either piled in an area of the backyard or collected in a compost bin. How the materials compost is  dependent upon the relative atmospheric conditions of compost, soil conditions, local climate and what is added to the compost.
Are these materials certified compostable?
Ecolution Packaging’s home compostable films are certified as home compostable.
How do I compost your compostable products?
Industrial compostable products must be disposed of in a designated industrial composting facility as the materials require higher temperatures (above 55 degrees to biodegrade).
Home compostable products in contrast can be composted at home. All components and materials used in the packaging including the printing ink and adhesives will decompose into organic soil.
Compostable materials will disintegrate within 12 weeks.
Can recyclable pouches hold liquids?
Yes, our recyclable pouches can hold liquids and they are anti static too.
Can compostable pouches hold liquids?
Generally speaking, compostable materials are only suitable for dry goods and not compatible with wet products over a long period due to nature of materials.
Do compostable pouches and recyclable pouches have a shelf-life?
Generally speaking, compostable pouches have 12 months shelf-life. They won’t start composting spontaneously on the shelf, but over time, the materials will weaken. Storing compostable pouches in dry climate will ensure a prolonged shelf-life.
Recyclable pouches have much longer shelf-life than compostable pouches, averagely around 2-3 years.
How does your packaging keep products fresh?
Coffee and tea are extremely sensitive to UV rays, oxygen and moisture. To maintain the aromatics and rich flavors and extend product shelf-life. Our materials provide an excellent oxygen and moisture barriers, and superior aroma protection that prevents coffee and tea from airing out. Some of the materials are anti-static too.
What's the turn around time of your pouches?
The turn around time is 8-14 weeks from the confirmed order or deposit receipted to deliver to you.
What's the minium order quantity?
We offer custom pouches and can customise the size and print. The minimum order quantity of pouches is 10,000-20,000 pieces depending on sizes, materials, etc..
