Nobler tempered glass(Toughened Glass), is produced by float glass in a tempering oven. The furnace heats the glass to a temperature around 620℃, then the glass undergoes the quenching process, with compressive stress on the surface, but the center of glass remains in tension, which gives tempered glass its’ strength.
