High Speed Soap Bundling Machine - COM55

COM55 is a bundle overwrapping machine for collated packets. Wrapping material used for this operation is typically both sides heat sealable BOPP (35 Micron) or hot melt coated laminated paper.  The machine has heavy cast structure for vibration absorption, dimensional integrity and durability. All movements (except knife operation) are via cam linkages. Pneumatic operations have been avoided to have better control on movements at higher speed and better up time.

Standard Features :

1.     Servo controlled wrapper feed. Setting on HMI.
2.     Vaccum belts assisted wrapper guidance.
3.     Print registration unit . Setting on HMI
4.     Adjustable height cut off unit. Setting by means of a handwheel.
5.     Stainless steel/ Poly carbonate guarding.
6.     Automation with Rockwell Automation products.
7.     No – products – no- pouch interlock.
8.      Pneumatics by Festo.



Optional Features :


COM55 has to be customised to following requirements of the customer.
a)     Products : Wrapped Soaps in the following arrangments of bundle.
1.       4 Soaps standing on edge
              

2.     12 Carton Box in 6*2  single layer matrix
            
3.       6 Soaps in 2 layers of threes (3*2 double layer matrix)

               

b) Special Requirments :

Safety guarding and electricals as per HUL standards.
In Consideration of the above mentioned specifications following optional features have been worked out :

1.     Change parts
2.     Double Layering for 3 x2 matrix by means of linear servo drive.
3.     Link up arrangement comprising infeed conveyer (1.5m), indexing conveyer, apendin arrangment, short magzine. Belt conveyer, stack control and cross pusher for stack. The entire arrangment is mechanically/ PLC integrated with the COM55. Safety guarding & interlocks, pressure deenergiser as per HUL Guidelines.
